CampCubes are a fast, simple, and flexible camp solution for operations in distressed areas. They are made from lightweight materials and can be assembled using only a few standard tools. They can easily be transported as flat packs in a 20 foot ISO container allowing for rapid deployment.
The units are well-suited for housing and isolation, medical operations, administrative work, cooking, showering, defecation, and anything that requires more hygienic and stable conditions than what a tent can provide. They are currently used by the Danish Emergency Management Agency.
The units are assembled via built-in locks, which fasten the panels together. A suncover can be mounted using the included roof profiles and steel wires. When the units are no longer in use, they can be and stacked inside a 20 foot container. The panels can be moved simply by hand.
The units are ready for installation of power, light and air conditioning. Holes have been pre-drilled for exterior lighting and air conditioning. Cable ducts and interior lights are mounted with double-sided adhesive tape. The units can be connected in series via an exterior box located by the door.
